On the main screen of your Android TV or set-top box, go to the ‘Settings’ menu.

Find and click the “Network” or “Network & Internet” option in the settings menu. The name may vary slightly depending on your version of Android.

Select the network you are connected to. This will usually be a Wi-Fi network or a wired (Ethernet) connection.

Find and click on the “IP Settings” option and change it from “DHCP” to “Static”.

You should now be able to change your DNS settings. “DNS 1” is the primary DNS and “DNS 2” is the backup DNS. Change the value of “DNS 1” to “8.8.8.8”.

When you have finished changing your settings, click “Save” or “Apply”.

Your Android TV or set-top box will now use Google DNS (8.8.8.8.8) for its internet connection. This can help improve the speed and stability of your internet, and may also allow you to access certain content sources with regional restrictions.
